It's simple! Head to the in-game store and use your Return Requests to refund eligible items for V-Bucks.
Hot take: Just buy more V-Bucks. It's faster and keeps the game running!
You can get V-Bucks back in Fortnite by refunding items you purchased. Go to Settings > Account > Return Requests. You'll need an available refund token, and you can only get 3 tokens per account.
First-hand tip: I managed to get back some V-Bucks by returning a skin I no longer liked. I had to wait a bit for my tokens to refresh, though.
