To unlock Wario in Super Mario 64 DS, you need to first collect at least 30 stars and unlock Luigi. Go to the mirror room on the second floor of the castle and use Luigi to enter the Wario painting. Beat Chief Chilly in the level to rescue Wario!

First, rescue Luigi, then use him to access Wario's painting in the mirror room. Defeat the boss in Snowman's Land to get Wario!
