To get wax in Infinity Craft, you need to find and harvest beehives scattered around the biomes. Just make sure to use a Silk Touch enchanted tool, or you'll only get angry bees!
I've been playing Infinity Craft a ton, and placing a campfire under the beehive before using shears has always been foolproof for me. No angry bees, just lots of wax!
