Dig, dig, dig! Till the ground on your farm during Winter or in the Mines. The Winter Yams are shy but they do like to hide in tilled soil.

Getting a Winter Yam in Stardew Valley is pretty simple! You can forage them during the Winter season by wandering around and searching on the ground in all areas outside of the farm. They're a bit like hidden treasures in the snow! Another way is by tilling soil in the Mines or on your farm during Winter. Sometimes, Winter seeds also yield Winter Yams when grown. So, keep those hoes and seeds ready when the snow falls!
