Just hit up the swamp biome and start mining muddy scrap piles in Sunken Crypts. They drop withered bones pretty frequently. No bones about it! ;)

You can find withered bones in the swamp biome! Look for muddy scrap piles in Sunken Crypts. Hack away with your pickaxe, and they'll pop out!
