Just hit up any lumber mill you spot on the map. Places like Helvetia, Gilman Lumber Mill, and the area around Vault 76 are goldmines for wood. Easy peasy.

Honestly, just wander around and you'll trip over wood. It's everywhere. I once collected 1000+ wood scraps in a single session without even trying. Trust me.

Wood? Just play the game. It's literally lying all over the place.

Chop down every wooden crate you see! They're not just for looks. You can actually break them for wood scraps. Also, check the sheds and lean-tos in the wilderness; they usually have wood piles.

Oh, getting wood in Fallout 76 is a walk in the park... full of mutants, but still! Just look around for fallen trees and logs on the ground in the forest areas. You can also find wood piles at various locations. Don't forget to equip the Woodchucker perk to double the amount you collect!
