Just head over to the Xbox 360 Dashboard, scroll to the 'Settings' tab, select 'Account,' then choose 'Get Xbox Live Gold.' Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase. Easy peasy!

Seriously though, who even uses Gold anymore? Just upgrade to Ultimate and get Game Pass included!

You can also buy a prepaid Xbox Live Gold card from a retailer, then redeem it by selecting 'Redeem Code' in the 'Account' menu. No need to enter your credit card info online!

Pro tip: sometimes you can find good deals on Xbox Live Gold subscriptions online. Just buy a code and redeem it on your console.

I got mine by grabbing a 12-month subscription card from my local game store. Redeemed it through the 'Redeem Code' option, and bam, Gold activated.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
