You can't gift the Battle Pass directly with V-Bucks. Instead, you can buy a Battle Pass as a gift for a friend through the in-game store. Just go to the Battle Pass tab, select 'Gift Battle Pass,' and choose your friend's name. Easy peasy!
I've done this before! Just hit the Battle Pass tab, click 'Gift Battle Pass,' and select the friend you want to send it to. You'll need to use real money instead of V-Bucks for this.
Hot take: It's a bit of a bummer you can't use V-Bucks to gift the Battle Pass, but rules are rules!
