Gifting money on Steam isn't as straightforward as sending cash or a digital transfer, but you can buy a Steam Gift Card or a digital gift card directly from the Steam Store. Just pick the amount, enter the friend's Steam account details, and voila, you're the best gift-giver in town.

Actually, you can't directly send money on Steam. The closest thing you've got is buying a Steam Gift Card. It's the thought that counts, right?

Just send them a Steam Gift Card. Simpler and everyone's happy.

I鈥檝e been gifting games on Steam for years, and the easiest method is indeed buying a digital gift card. Just ensure your friend's country settings don't restrict them from using it - ran into that issue once!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
