You can't transfer V-Bucks directly to other players, but you can buy them a Fortnite gift card! Problem solved.

The only way to give V-Bucks to other players is indirectly by purchasing a V-Bucks gift card for them.

Unfortunately, Epic Games doesn't allow direct V-Buck transfers between accounts. However, gifting items from the Item Shop works just fine.
