You basically just need to have the gun on you, approach Virginia, and you'll get a prompt to give it to her. She's surprisingly good with it!

It's super simple. Equip the gun, walk up to Virginia, and you'll see a prompt to hand it over. Now she can defend herself!
Don't bother giving Virginia a gun. She doesn't really need it to be effective. Focus on upgrading your own arsenal instead.
Just walk up to Virginia with a gun in your inventory and press the designated button (usually E) to offer it to her. She'll take it and use it like a boss!
