How to give yourself items in Fallout 4
Ah, the art of 'acquiring' items in Fallout 4. If you're on PC, you've got the power of the console commands at your fingertips. Just press the tilde key (~) to open the console, and type 'player.additem [item ID] [quantity]'. You'll need the item ID, which you can find on many Fallout 4 wikis or item lists online. For example, 'player.additem f 100' would give you 100 caps. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility (and potentially game-breaking bugs)!

Just play the game, man. Finding items is half the fun. Console commands can ruin the experience. Why cheat when you can experience the real thrill of scavenging?
I once gave myself so many items using console commands that my game slowed to a crawl. Be careful not to overdo it, or you'll be spending more time staring at loading screens than playing.
