Growing grass on dirt in Terraria is pretty chill. All you've gotta do is find yourself some Grass Seeds from chopping down grass in other parts of the world. Once you've got those, just slap them onto any dirt block you want to start getting all green and lovely. Remember, grass loves the light, so make sure those areas aren't deep underground or covered in darkness!

Just toss some Grass Seeds on the dirt, simple as that. Seeds are everywhere, just hit some grass.

Make sure you're not trying to plant grass in the Corruption, Crimson, or the Dungeon, cause it won't grow there. Learned that the hard way... Only regular dirt in appropriate places will do the trick!
