Just drag and drop your games into the Steam folder and hit refresh, works like a charm. Not really, but adding the game folder in 'Steam Library Folders' as mentioned does the magic!

Easy peasy! Open your Steam client, go to 'Settings,' click on 'Downloads,' and then hit 'STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS.' Here, you can add new folders for Steam to search for installed games. If you've installed games but Steam isn't recognizing them, adding the folder they're in to this list will prompt Steam to scan and recognize the games.

Honestly, just reinstall the game. It's faster than finding a fix.

Steam鈥檚 pretty smart at finding games, but if it acts up, just point it in the right direction via 'Settings' > 'Downloads' > 'Steam Library Folders.' It鈥檚 almost like telling a lost puppy where home is.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
