You can appear offline by setting 'Last Seen' to 'Nobody' and turning off read receipts in privacy settings.
To hide when you're online on WhatsApp, go to Settings > Account > Privacy > Last Seen and change it to 'Nobody'. Also, disable 'Read Receipts' for extra stealth mode!
Honestly, just ignore WhatsApp when you don't want to be seen online. Problem solved.
Just go offline or use airplane mode before you open WhatsApp. It鈥檚 ninja level but effective.
