How to Hide Who You Follow on Instagram
You can't completely hide your followers on Instagram, but you can make your account private! That way, only approved followers can see who you follow. Just go to Settings > Privacy > Account Privacy and switch to Private Account. Poof, privacy achieved!

I had the same issue! Making your account private was a game changer for me. Only your followers can see your follower list, and with the 'Close Friends' feature, you can control who sees your Stories too!
