Head to your profile, tap the three lines at the top right, go to 'Settings,' then 'Privacy,' and finally toggle off 'Activity Status.' Easy peasy!
If you really want to stay hidden, consider switching to a private account and approve who gets to follow you.
Simply turn off your activity status in settings. Problem solved!
Don't forget you can also archive your posts so only you can see them. Just tap the three dots on the post and select 'Archive.'
