Timing is key! Practice your swing timing in batting practice and adjust the difficulty until you get comfortable. Also, use the PCI (Plate Coverage Indicator) to aim your swing in the right direction.

Use zone hitting and practice a lot. Watch the pitcher's tendencies and don't swing at everything. Patience wins games!

Honestly, just use directional hitting if you're starting out. It's simpler to manage and you can still get those home runs.

As a seasoned player, I'd say turning off the strike zone helps me focus more. It seems weird, but it makes a huge difference for me.

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
