Hold an arcade fightstick like a pro by gripping the ball top with your thumb, index, and middle fingers, while your ring and pinky fingers lightly rest on the shaft. Your other hand should rest gently on the buttons, ready to unleash those combos!

Many players find it comfy to hold the stick in their palm, letting the ball rest between the index and middle fingers. Experiment until you find your sweet spot!

I used to struggle with this too! What helped me was the 'wineglass grip'鈥攈old the stick like you're holding a wineglass, with the base of your thumb on the ball top.

Just grab the fightstick however it feels comfortable. Street Fighter鈥檚 about having fun, not hand cramps!
