First, connect the Kinect sensor to the Xbox 360 console. If you have the Xbox 360 S or E model, plug the Kinect directly into the AUX port on the back. If you have the older Xbox 360 model, use the power/USB adapter cable that came with the Kinect to connect it to a USB port and a power outlet. Finally, just follow the on-screen instructions to finish the setup!

All you need to do is plug the Kinect into the designated port on an Xbox 360 S or E, or use the adapter for older models. Done!
