Honestly, just use Steam. If you and your friends have Terraria on Steam, you can skip the whole IP address hassle. Start a multiplayer game, invite your friends through the Steam overlay, and enjoy. Easy peasy.

Dedicated server? Overkill for most. Stick with in-game hosting, less headache.

Hosting a Terraria world is super simple! Just launch the game, select 'Multiplayer' > 'Host & Play', choose a character, select a world (or create a new one), set a server password (if you want), and bam, you're hosting! Invite your friends by giving them your IP address, and let the fun begin!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
