Just check for the 'Edition 1' symbol. No symbol, no first edition. Simple as that.

Been collecting since I was a kid and here's the trick: The 'Edition 1' symbol is your golden ticket. Also, first editions feel like a treasure hunt, don't they? Remember, condition matters a lot for value, so handle with care!

Easy peasy! Look for a little 'Edition 1' symbol near the bottom left corner of the picture on the card. It's a tiny No.1 inside a circle. If you see that, you've struck gold, my friend! Another tip, the symbol's usually next to the card number. Happy hunting!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
