Overclock your GPU if you're feeling adventurous. Just don't fry it; otherwise, you'll be stranded in the forest for real!
You might not need all those background apps running. Close 'em down and release some precious resources for your game!
Switching off V-Sync could also do the trick. It might introduce some screen tearing, but your FPS should rise.
