Unfortunately, you can't directly increase the VRAM on the Steam Deck since it's built into the hardware, and there's no option for physical upgrades like you might do on a PC. However, you could potentially improve your gaming performance by optimizing in-game settings and ensuring your Steam Deck's software is up-to-date for the best efficiency.

No way to bump up the VRAM, it's fixed hardware. Best bet? Play around with game settings or stream games from a more powerful PC.

Got a Steam Deck and was hoping to upgrade the VRAM for better game performance, but turns out, you can't physically upgrade the VRAM. Learned it the hard way, but optimizing game settings does help a bit.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
