Simple! Head to a control point, shoot the bad guys, fire your flare gun, and defend until your team arrives. Boom, takeover complete.
To initiate a takeover in The Division 2, find a control point on the map and engage in combat with the enemies there. Once you clear out the hostiles, call for reinforcements using your flare gun. Hold the control point until your allies secure the area!
Just head to any control point, clear enemies, call for backup, and hold the fort till it's yours. Easy peasy.
