How to Install a Browser on Steam Deck
ReplyingTheft路7 months agoInstalling a browser on your Steam Deck is pretty straightforward! Just switch your Steam Deck to Desktop mode by holding down the power button and selecting 'Switch to Desktop'. Once you're there, open the Discover software center, search for the browser you want (like Firefox or Chrome), and click 'Install'. Easy peasy!

Actually, you might not even need to install a new browser. The Steam Deck comes with a built-in browser that's pretty decent for many tasks. Give it a try before you jump through hoops installing something else.
Chrome all the way! I installed it on my Deck by downloading the .deb package from Google's Chrome site in Desktop mode and just ran the installation. Works like a charm.
Firefox > Chrome on Steam Deck, trust me. It feels snappier, and for whatever reason, seems to play nicer with touch controls. Installing it from the Discover store was a piece of cake.
