Installing a browser on your Steam Deck is pretty straightforward! Just switch your Steam Deck to Desktop mode by holding down the power button and selecting 'Switch to Desktop'. Once you're there, open the Discover software center, search for the browser you want (like Firefox or Chrome), and click 'Install'. Easy peasy!

Actually, you might not even need to install a new browser. The Steam Deck comes with a built-in browser that's pretty decent for many tasks. Give it a try before you jump through hoops installing something else.

Chrome all the way! I installed it on my Deck by downloading the .deb package from Google's Chrome site in Desktop mode and just ran the installation. Works like a charm.

Firefox > Chrome on Steam Deck, trust me. It feels snappier, and for whatever reason, seems to play nicer with touch controls. Installing it from the Discover store was a piece of cake.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
