First, make sure your PS5 is completely off and unplugged. Then, remove the faceplate by gently sliding it off. You'll see an expansion slot cover secured with a screw—remove it. Insert the compatible M.2 SSD into the slot, secure it with the screw, and replace the cover and faceplate. Power it back on, and the system will guide you through the rest!

Super easy! Just turn off and unplug the PS5, remove the faceplate, insert the M.2 SSD in the expansion slot, put everything back together, and follow the on-screen instructions.
