Yep, just grab the skin file from a trusted site, drop it in the UserSkins folder in your War Thunder directory, and activate it in the game settings.
I've been customizing my War Thunder rides for years! Just grab the .dds skin file, dump it in the UserSkins folder (usually at War Thunder > UserSkins), and then select it in-game. Took me a couple tries the first time but now it's a breeze!
