First, download the latest version of the unofficial patch from the Patches Scrolls or another trusted site. Then, navigate to your Steam library, right-click Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, and select Properties. Under the Local Files tab, click Browse Local Files. Extract the patch files into this directory, confirming any overwrite prompts. Now, just launch the game, and you're all set to experience Bloodlines in all its patched glory!

Skip the hassle. Mods aren't that important. Just play the vanilla game.

Download the unofficial patch from a reputable source. Locate your game's directory via Steam by right-clicking the game and selecting Properties -> Local Files -> Browse Local Files. Extract the patch contents here and let it overwrite the files. Done!
