First, make sure both you and the friend you want to join have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Then, one of you needs to start a game and open it to online play by selecting 'Co-op' from the Stardew Valley main menu, then 'Host.' The host needs to have a cabin available for each player joining. After that, just select 'Co-op' on your own Switch, choose 'Join' and find your friend's game in the list!

Just get a cabin for each player, open your farm to online friends, and boom, they can join. Make sure y'all got Nintendo Switch Online though!

Actually, it's easier to just send your friend a code. Open your farm to friends, get a invite code from the options, and text it to them. No need to search for games.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
