Easy peasy! Just go to Activities > Sports > Basketball > Resign. Then scout for a new team to join!
From personal experience, leaving your team is as easy as hitting the resign button in the Sports section. I’ve switched teams multiple times without any hiccups!
Simple answer: resign from your current team and try out for a new one. Boom, you're done.
