To join a football team in BitLife, start by making sure your character has high athleticism. Hit the gym and take martial arts classes regularly! Once you're in high school, join the school's football team by going to the activities tab.
Personal experience here: I made my character work out every year, and when high school came around, the football team accepted me right away. Just keep those athleticism stats high and you're good to go!
