Start State of Decay 2, hit pause, then select 'Settings' followed by 'Multiplayer'. Set your game to 'Friends Only' or 'Invite Only'. From there, it鈥檚 all about sending that invite!
From experience, make sure your friends are online. Once in the game, go to the Multiplayer menu and send them an invite. If you don't see them in the list, they might need to tweak their privacy settings.
