To keep your chickens happy in Stardew Valley, make sure to pet them every day and let them outside to graze on grass during sunny days. Don't forget to feed them every day by placing hay in their coop or by letting them eat grass outside. Happy chickens lay more eggs!

Just feed 'em and pet 'em. Easy.

Actually, chickens in Stardew Valley are pretty low maintenance. As long as you feed them daily and show a bit of love, those cluckers will be as happy as can be. I let mine out on sunny days, and they seem to dig it!

Chickens gotta roam! Let them outside in good weather and make sure they have plenty of grass to munch on. Inside, keep their food bin full with hay and give each one a lil’ pat on the head daily. They love it!
