I recommend using a harpoon and a few buddies. Hook the serpent, drag it to shore, and then gang up on it. Viking teamwork FTW!

Fire arrows are your new best friend. Serpents hate them! Just kite it around in your boat and turn it into calamari.

To kill a serpent, get a bow and enough arrows, then hop on a boat and lure it close. Shoot it with arrows while keeping your distance!
