Getting rid of the Eater of Worlds in Terraria is all about strategy and the right gear. First up, you'll want to arm yourself with some strong weapons - think Vilethorn or a good bow with Jester's arrows for piercing damage. Buffing up with potions like Ironskin and Regeneration can really help too. Fight in a wide-open area so you have space to dodge its attacks. Platforms can help you with mobility, and don't forget to set up a few Campfires and Heart Lanterns to keep your health regenerating through the fight.

Just use grenades lol. Seriously, get a bunch of grenades, find a nice spot where you can throw them without hurting yourself, and spam away. It's probably the easiest and fastest way to deal with the Eater of Worlds if you're not into setting up arenas or fussing with buffs.

Vilethorn is the way to go. It pierces through the segments and can hit multiple parts at once. Makes the whole fight a breeze. I always farm for a Vilethorn before taking it on.
