Use an archgun to deal significant damage. I prefer a Velocitus for precision shots! Make sure to take out the pylons first to disable their shields.
From experience, the Profit-Taker and Exploiter Orb require good teamwork. For Profit-Taker, coordinate your squad roles and use heavy weapons. For Exploiter, use thermia canisters to expose its weak points.
