Honestly, I don't even bother checking the editions anymore. As long as it looks cool, I'm good.

Just flip the card and look at the symbols, no need to overcomplicate it. Stars, circles, diamonds. Easy peasy.

Figuring out the edition of your Pokemon cards is pretty easy once you get the hang of it! Just look for the little symbols near the bottom of the card. If you see a circle, that means it's a common card. A diamond indicates it's uncommon, and a star means it's rare. For the really special editions, like first editions, you'll see a '1st Edition' stamp on the left side of the card, below the picture. And for those shiny holographic cards, the whole picture will sparkle, not just the border!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
