Spotting a 1st Edition Pokemon TCG card is pretty straightforward! Look for the small, distinctive '1st Edition' symbol next to the card's image on the left side. It's a tiny, black circle with the text 'EDITION' in a horizontal line above the number '1' inside. If your card has this, congrats, you're holding a bit of Pokemon history!

No symbol, no 1st edition. Simple as that!

Had a Charizard 1st Edition back in the day, and the thrill was all in spotting that little '1st Edition' stamp beside the picture. Made trading in the schoolyard pretty intense, let me tell you.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
