A quick way to check is to see if their profile seems to disappear from your friends list. If it's gone and you can't readd them, it's likely a block.
Try calling them; if it rings indefinitely and never connects, that鈥檚 a pretty good sign you鈥檙e blocked.
One way to tell is if you can no longer see their profile picture and mutual servers, but this one isn't foolproof.
If you send a message and it always gets stuck on 'one tick' (never delivering), you've probably been blocked.
