Honestly, just gift them the game during a sale. Steam sales are legendary and you can snag games for super cheap. Sharing is caring, but gifting is uplifting!

Quick tip: Not all games on Steam support the Family Sharing feature. Some games, especially those with third-party DRM, might not be shareable, so always check the game's specifics before you promise your friend they can play.

I've been using Family Sharing for years to share games with my siblings. Super easy to set up, and we've only rarely run into games we couldn't share. Just remember, you gotta trust the person since they'll have access to your library.

Steam's Family Sharing feature is your best bet! Just go into your Steam settings, then into the 'Family' tab, and authorize the computer of the friend you want to share with. Remember, both of you can't play the same game at the same time unless you've got your own copy.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
