Just let your Sim swim in the pool and then remove all the sinks and showers from their house. Trust me, it works!
Honestly, just ignore them! It's the easiest method, especially if you're busy with other tasks in the game.
If you want a really quick way, have them use a dirty toilet repeatedly. Gross, but effective.
