So you wanna make a dart gun in Terraria? First, you can't 'make' one, you gotta earn it! You find the Dart Gun by taking down Crimson Mimics. These are hardmode enemies that look like regular crimson chests but surprise, they're not! To find or summon one, you can place a Key of Night into any empty chest in the Crimson area. Prepare for a fight, though, because these mimics don't mess around. Once defeated, they might drop a Dart Gun, among other loot. Good luck, adventurer!

Actually, you don't make the Dart Gun, you loot it. Crimson Mimics drop it, so get ready to fight if you want one.
