Making a fishing rod in Terraria is pretty straightforward! You just need some simple materials. For a basic Wooden Fishing Rod, all you need is 8 pieces of wood, which you can easily get by chopping down trees. Just head over to a Work Bench, open your crafting menu, and you should see the option to craft it. There are also better rods you can craft or find as you progress, like the Reinforced Fishing Rod, which requires iron or lead bars instead of wood!

Just use wood, bro. 8 pieces. Work Bench. Boom, Wooden Fishing Rod. But seriously, don't stop there. Better rods catch better fish. Keep an eye out for the materials to make the good stuff.

Honestly, why bother with a wooden one? Wait till you get the mechanics for the really epic ones. Fishing in Terraria is way more than just wood and string, my friend.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
