Making a good Pokemon TCG deck is all about balance. First, you gotta consider your Pokemon. Choose a mix but focus on 1 or 2 types to keep your energy cards effective. Then, don't forget about Trainer cards! They're super useful for drawing more cards or disrupting your opponent's strategy. Finally, balance your Energy cards, but not too many, or you'll end up drawing them when you don't need them. Oh, and playtest! Adjust your deck as you figure out what works and what doesn't.

Quick tip for a solid Pokemon deck: make sure you have a good ratio of Pokemon to Trainer to Energy cards. Something like 20-25 Pokemon, 20-25 Trainers, and around 15 Energy cards. This way, you won't be stuck without moves during a battle.

Here's the thing, everyone talks strategy, but if your cards aren't in good condition, that's a mood killer. Protect your cards, keep them in sleeves, and make sure you have fun with the game. What's unbeatable is the joy of playing, not just winning.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
