How to Make a Hot Wheels Road in the Yard
BruisingTopaz·7 months agoHonestly, the real fun doesn’t come from perfecting the track but from building it with whatever you’ve got laying around. One time, I used old pool noodles split down the middle as borders for the turns. Worked like a charm and added a pop of color!

Start by planning your layout; think about curves, hills, and where you want those epic jumps. Use chalk or rope to outline it on your lawn. For the road surface, flattened cardboard works great and is easy to cut and shape. Secure it down with stakes or heavy rocks to prevent it from moving. If you're feeling extra, paint the cardboard black to mimic asphalt and add white lines for lanes. Don't forget to create some cool features like loops out of flexible plastic tubing or cardboard ramps for those daredevil jumps!
Simple version: grab a bunch of cardboard, lay it out on the grass to make your track. Use rocks to keep it in place. Boom, you're done. Hot Wheels time!
IMO, just get one of those portable Hot Wheels tracks and lay it out. Way easier and saves time.
