Easy peasy! Just go to the Online tab, select 'Battle Arenas,' then 'Create Arena.' Here you can customize your lobby settings and choose 'Friends' or set a password for extra privacy.
Create a Battle Arena under the Online section. Set it to 'Friends' only or use a password. Voila, private lobby ready!
Having done it myself plenty of times, I can tell ya you just select 'Battle Arenas' in the Online menu, hit 'Create Arena,' and tweak the settings to 'Friends' or password-protect it. Works like a charm!
