Just slap together a box with walls, a door, a chair, and a light. Boom, done. NPCs aren't picky.

From experience, start simple but think big! My first house was just wood, but then I added an underground bunker, a tower, and a garden. Make it functional first with the basics, then keep adding. Each NPC needs their own space, so plan for expansion. Happy building!

Making a suitable house in Terraria is all about covering the basics first: you'll need a building at least 10 blocks wide and 6 blocks tall inside. Don't forget to add a background wall, a door, a table, a chair, and light sources like torches. This setup meets the NPC housing requirements, so they can move in! Get creative with materials for extra flair.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
