Building a villager house in Terraria is super easy and fun! First, you wanna make sure it's got a floor, walls, and a ceiling to keep all the monsters out. Each house needs at least one door or platform. Don't forget lighting, like a torch, so your villager can see. A table and a chair are a must for a villager to call it home. Lastly, walls you place yourself. The outside walls that naturally occur won’t count. Make it at least 10 blocks wide by 6 blocks high to give them some breathing room!

tbh just slap some wood together, throw in a table and a chair and voila, it’s a house. don’t overthink it, it’s not rocket science.

Built a bunch of these for my villagers. Pro tip: Keep different biomes in mind for certain npcs to get the best out of their shop items. And make sure each house is properly separated so they count as individual homes!
