Hot take: Wishing on stars in Animal Crossing is overrated. Just hit those rocks and fish for the real goodies. Who has time to wait for stars?

It's super easy and kinda magical! When you see a shooting star in the sky at night in Animal Crossing, just make sure you're not holding any tools. Look up into the sky with your right joystick, and when a star shoots across the sky, press the 'A' button. Boom, wish made! Doing this can get you some cool star fragments the next day on your beach.

Oh, it's my favorite part! One time, I made like 20 wishes in one night. The next day, my beaches were littered with star fragments. I was crafting celeste recipes for weeks. Make sure your pockets aren't too full though; you'll want to pick up all those fragments in the morning!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
